The OverDrive app is a program available for desktop computers, tablet computers, and smart phones. However, you can install OverDrive’s desktop app for Windows using Wine. The OverDrive app isn’t natively supported by Linux. Is there a Linux version of the OverDrive app? On the page you’re taken to, scroll almost to the bottom of the screen, and click Download for Windows Desktop. When you get there, scroll to the bottom of the screen, and under the “Using OverDrive” heading, click Download the App. But what’s even cooler is that the OverDrive-created and owned Libby app lets you borrow e-books, audiobooks, music, and more for free. Listen up, the library is cool and we all secretly know it. You may get a warning saying that this kind of file can harm your device. Review the license agreement and tap I Agree to download the installation file.
Select download for Android OS 5.0 (or newer) at the bottom of the page.
Then, click or tap the Read now in browser button to begin reading it immediately using OverDrive Read. To get started, open your web browser and borrow a title that’s available in the OverDrive Read format from your library. The OverDrive app is available for Android, Chromebooks, iOS, Fire tablets, and Windows 8/10.
